Housed in the 1907 Haslett Warehouse, the Argonaut is the only hotel located in the Maritime National Historical Park. As such, the hotel overlooks the bay, a fleet of historic ships, and the Cannery. Incorporating a tasteful nautical theme, the lobby has a row of cruise ship deck chairs, while the 265 guestrooms feature whitewashed furniture, navy blue and gold accents, and captain-style chairs. The rooms also contain original architectural elements such as exposed brick walls and steel warehouse doors. A complimentary wine hour is held in the lobby, and the adjacent Blue Mermaid Chowder House serves excellent crab chowder.
