Eighteen years ago, Nancy Silverton began making bread for her renowned La Brea Bakery. Last November, she turned her attention to pizza dough. With her business partner, star chef Mario Batali, Silverton and chef Matt Molina prepare wood-oven-baked pizzas, from a classic Margherita to a squash blossom and burrata (cream-filled mozzarella) version.
