In November 2005 Steve Johnson, formerly of the Blue Room, renovated an old Burger King in Central Square—better known for ethnic dives and late-night takeout—to create this casual Med-Rim spot. The walls display the work of local artists; the bar serves some of Boston’s best cocktails.

We Loved

Skillet-roasted lobster with harissa and Meyer lemon; osso buco of Vermont lamb with parsnips and peas; sangria with fresh white peach juice.
