Believe it or not, Rio’s best pizza comes from a supermarket…that is, from the restaurants set up these past two years inside a few branches of the Zona Sul chain (this Copacabana one is the biggest). The ultrathin-crusted pizzas have toppings both avant-garde (shiitake and Asian shimeji mushrooms) and traditional. The small wine list is by Danio Braga, one of the city’s top sommeliers.
