One-year-old, Philippe Starck–designed Bon is the talk of the town, but not for the menu by Italian chef Fabio Testa, a roster of fine if predictable carpaccios and pastas. It’s the apocalyptic decor that gets the attention—imagine the candlelit lair of a gothic villain with edgy graffiti (“kick him in the right place”) and lamps that resemble Kalashnikovs.
