The kitchen takes up half the space in this tiny spot, which feels more like a casual dinner party than a restaurant—albeit a dinner party that lasts from Wednesday through Friday, includes a choice of food (five appetizers and two entrées) and then charges its guests. Chefs Karin Gaasterland and Alain Parry claim the small size and limited schedule allow them to cook in a more personal, energized way; the legions of regulars concur.
