The very good food at Al Bric often involves cheese and exists principally to complement the wine. This isn’t to criticize the hearty bourgeois cooking; it’s to praise the telephone book–size, 1,500-plus-label wine list (strong on Super-Tuscans), which has its own pedestal off the entrance.
