Small, shabby, lunch-only Trattoria Mario on the piazza by the central market is no secret, but don’t let that deter you from cramming around the wooden tables for the recitation of specials—and it’s all specials. Dishes are not unusual—minestrone, pastas, roasts—but all are exceptionally good, and it’s hard to spend more than $15, with wine.
