Ten miles south of Berlin, this little restaurant showcases owner Carmen Krüger’s modest but uniquely delicious homestyle food. “Basically I cook like my grandma: clean vegetables and meat roasted in fat,” Krüger has said. Clued-in locals have made the drive to her door for 25 years.
