Michelin-starred chef Anthony Demetre closed his big, landmark Putney Bridge restaurant in summer 2005 to return to Soho, where he had cooked in the early 1990s. In a brightly lit, minimalist interior, the attention is on the food—carefully sourced, reasonably priced dishes firmly rooted in the New Brit tradition. The service is smart, as is the wine list.
