This beloved 1970s-era restaurant was reincarnated last year after a seven-year hiatus: The candlelit room above spectacular Marine Drive Bay is radically different from its fusty old self. Both the chef and the menu remain wonderful.

We Loved

Marinated kebabs cooked on the sigri open-flame grill, with nan and dahi wali, a 36-ingredient chutney.
