Chef-owner Harlan Goldsteinor—H, as he’s affectionately known to the monied crowd he formerly fed at Hong Kong’s Aberdeen Marina Club—carries on his feel-good Italian-inspired cooking at his three-year-old eponymous restaurant. Regulars jostle for red and green circular booths and window tables overlooking Victoria Harbor, while society types fill the private rooms and mine the cellar of cult wines, such as Screaming Eagle and, of course, Harlan Estate (no relation).
