The actress Zhang Ziyi surprised many people when this, her first restaurant, turned out to be so ambitious and assured. The vast interior, with its barnlike ceilings, has a life-size Buddha carved out of ice. The all-organic, health-conscious Japanese menu may seem gimmicky, but the consensus is: It’s good. Surprisingly good.
