If you thought working on a farm wasn’t a fun job, you’re wrong. While sweeping up hay from the barn floor around his goats, New York farmer Jay Lavery took a break from his labors to bust a move to Sia’s “Cheap Thrills.” According to an interview with the Huffington Post, Lavery says he would do “crazy things” like this some times and share them with his friends on Facebook. But this time, the crazy thing was also shared by thousands of other people resulting in almost 5 million views of his original post.

It's that time of the year for the Lets Move Challenge. Dancing is how I stay warm in the barn and I never know when I'm going to break out into a dance. But what most people don't know is that 15 years ago I had a traumatic back injury that caused me to have several back surgeries including a discectomy and a spinal fusion and never ending back pain. Dancing along with yoga and meditation are my only alternatives to pain medication. So I hope this can inspire anyone to move in spite of pain and I hope this puts a smile on your face for the New Year.

Lavery says the point of the video is to motivate others to take part in the Let’s Move Challenge. “15 years ago I had a traumatic back injury that caused me to have several back surgeries including a discectomy and a spinal fusion and never ending back pain. Dancing along with yoga and meditation are my only alternatives to pain medication. So I hope this can inspire anyone to move in spite of pain and I hope this puts a smile on your face for the New Year.” Read more about Lavery here.
