Pumpkin Spice Nails Are a Thing And It's All Your Fault, America

We get it. Pumpkin spice makes people happy. Happy people consume pumpkin spice. But do we really need to put the cinnamon, clove, ginger and nutmeg mixture on top of everything? STOP. THE. MADNESS.

In a gesture of sarcasm over America's pumpkin spice obsession, Instagrammer twi_star opted for a seasonal and hilarious DIY manicure with the prized orange powder.


Starting with a pumpkin-hued base coat and "lots of top coat," the popular nail artist then used a fan brush to dust the spicy goodness all over her wet talons. The result: a texture that resembles "elephant poop," along with a pumpkin spice-induced cough that further proves just how dangerous this craze really is.
