How to Make Your Own Wonderfully Cruel Unpoppable Bubble Wrap Coasters

By FWx Editors |

Bubble is useful, we guess. It probably stops the porcelain Dr. Who figurines you ordered from Etsy from breaking or something like that. But everybody knows the real purpose of bubble wrap is pure tactile enjoyment. The pleasure of popping tiny plastic bubbles transcends every generational and cultural boundary. That’s why there is something sadistically genius about this DIY project from Peter Brown. He made coasters out of bubble wrap and resin. But thanks to a happy accident, what Brown actually ended up making was a clear, hard mold that looks exactly like bubble wrap. Both unpoppable and actually useful for those of us who don’t want rings on the coffee table, this has the makings of the greatest resin and bubble wrap-based prank in history.
