Watch ‘The Food Surgeon’ Transplant the Cream From an Oreo Into a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup

By Mike Pomranz |

Some people go through years of medical school training learning to save the lives of others as a surgeon. And then some people just buy surgical gloves and a scalpel off eBay or whatever and use them to play around with desserts.

A member of that latter group now has his own YouTube channel: The Food Surgeon.

In his newest video, the Food Surgeon performs what he calls a “Reese’s Peanut-Butter-Ectomy with Oreo Cream Transplant” which is a crazy way of saying he carefully removes the peanut butter from a peanut butter cup and replaces it with the cream from the middle of an Oreo.

If that sounds ridiculous, just wait. Beyond being relatively handy with a scalpel, The Food Surgeon also knows a thing or two about video production, allowing the entire four-and-a-half-minute video to play every tiny moment of this “operation” as if it is truly life or death.

Then, like some deranged Dr. Frankenstein, The Food Surgeon eats his patient without comment. Damn it! Tell us how it tasted!
