Snap, crackle, rock?

The internet can be a wonderful, wonderful place. For no apparent reason, other than its sheer awesomeness, a Rice Krispies commercial featuring the Rolling Stones has been making the rounds on social media this week.

The clip, which was originally posted over a decade ago, is believed to have been recorded in 1963 or 1964, shortly after the legends came together. According to the Daily Mail, the catchy lyrics appeared on British television in the '60s and were apparently written by original band member Brian Jones.

Some highlights from the track:

Wake up in the morning there’s a snap around the place, wake up in the morning there’s a crackle in your face.

Pour on the milk and listen to the crackle of that rice, get up in the morning to the pop that says 'it's rice.'

Pretty catchy stuff, but are you really surprised from the group that gave us "Satisfaction" and "You Can't Always Get What You Want?"

Check out the clip in its entirety below and rock out with your spoons out.
