When you're figuring out how to eat your slice of pizza, sometimes it can feel like choosing between the lesser of two evils. Do you want to eat it with your hands risking greasy fingers and potentially clothing? Or do you want to be that person who eats their slice of pizza on a plate with a (gasp!) knife and fork? Thanks to product designers Yu Kyung Ha, Won Min Jung, and Kwon Young Hee, you may never have to choose again.

These clever team from South Korea have invented a pizza plating system called Paper Dish that will keep your hands clean while letting you eat pizza straight from the box, in true pizza spirit. Paper Dish is a paper circle that sits below your pizza, divided by perforated into eight slices. With the tabs along its perimeter, Pizza Dish makes it easy to grab your slice of pizza without getting your fingers messy. Then just pull and, thanks to the perforation, your individual slice's plate will come right out with the slice itself.

The plate doesn't exactly mimic the shape of the slice. The tip of the pizza slice goes plate-less, so you don't need to worry about biting into paper when you go for that first huge bite. It's no wonder the product won a Red Dot design award. Although the innovation is still in the design stage, here's hoping the Paper Dish design system gets adopted by pizzerias everywhere.
