How to Make Microwave Popcorn Right on the Cobb

By FWx Editors |

Sometimes we find that our microwave popcorn is missing a certain rustic touch. Fortunately this quick tutorial from Farmhouse Delivery, a Texas-based company that works getting food from local farmers delivered around Austin and Houston, provides a solution.

Simply butter up a whole ear of corn, stick it in a couple paper bags and zap it for four minutes in the microwave. The result is fresh popcorn right on the cobb. It might not be quite as cool a snack as a skinned watermelon, but it’s certainly easier to make. Check out the video above for to see the whole process in action and then swing by the farmer’s market to try it with an ear of your own.
