Chorizo fans have two things to celebrate: National Taco Day and the news that Chipotle will be offering the spicy pork and chicken blend at all of its locations.

After testing the Mexican-style sausage during the summer, the national burrito chain clearly saw olé-inducing results.

"The reaction to chorizo in the cities that have had it has been overwhelmingly positive, so we’re making it available in all of our restaurants across the country," founder and co-CEO Steve Ellis revealed in a press release. “Our chorizo is made with Responsibly Raised chicken and pork, and provides a delicious new option that fits perfectly with the rest of our menu.”

Boasting a blend of spices including toasted cumin, chipotle peppers and three types of paprika, Chipotle's chorizo can be ordered with the company's signature burritos, tacos, salads and burrito bowls.

This is one of many new initiatives the restaurant has taken to re-build its post-health crisis brand. More meat is always a good thing, so Chipotle deserves a guacamole-filled trophy for this one.
