Greenwich Village’s Quality Eats has been stepping up their brunch game. They have a monkey bread BEC, a lemon blueberry pancake soufflé but most importantly - an insanely delicious black and white French toast. This is where tres leches cake meets a black and white cookie. Inspiration hit when Chef Ryan Bartlow was working on developing a new French toast recipe while craving a black and white cookie he had eaten a few days before. They decided to top off the tres leches-soaked toast with a chocolate ganache and a vanilla glaze. Sprinkle a little Malden salt on top and you have the most chocolaty, custardy plate of French toast you've ever encountered.
