Union Fare has been rolling out some insane pastries and desserts lately. Whether its their flaky birthday cake croissant stuffed with sprinkles or the strawberry creamsicle ice cream with a shortcake streusel, they’re all amazingly delicious. But if you're not in the mood for dessert just yet, good news: they’re serving brunch on the weekends. Featured on that menu is an ultimate breakfast sandwich that is sweet, savory and topped off with a mouthwatering bacon glaze. (They also have healthier options like grain bowls and yogurt, but this is more fun).
The bread: A gooey cinnamon roll made in house.
The filling: The warm cinnamon roll is stuffed with two fried eggs basted in butter and covered in cheddar cheese and apple sausage. It’s then topped with a bacon glaze made from powdered sugar, apple cider vinegar and bacon fat. It's sticky, it's sweet, it's salty... Okay, this might be a fork and knife kind of sandwich!
