A Japanese Restaurant Has Brilliantly Replaced Buns with Hamburger Patties
Japanese restaurant Shake Tree has a simple, albeit clever solution to the gluten-free, soy-free, peanut-free, grain-free, basically everything-free frenzy that has consumed America's eating habits: buns replaced with meat patties.
Since most of us pretty much only crave a hamburger for its grilled beef and familiar fixings, the bread vs. no bread debate is quickly solved by just swapping it out for, you guessed it, more grilled beef. Genius.
Dubbed the "Wild Out," the idea has yet to (shocking, we know) make its stateside debut. We're looking at you, In & Out and Shake Shack. Even KFC's ridiculous Double Down doesn't cut it. It's time to ditch the lettuce wraps and give the people what they really want: all the beef.
