1. Peking Duck House
The best BYO in NYC! I have had some of my most memorable bottles with sommelier friends like Levi Dalton and Raj Vaidya in this old-school Chinatown standard. The food is amazing and very wine-friendly and the restaurant can accommodate large parties. 2. Rouge Tomate

3. Discovery Wines
This is my local wine store (I literally live above it) and they have a great mix of classic and New Wave wines. 16 Avenue B; 212-674-7833; discoverywines.com.
4. Reynard in the Wythe Hotel
Lee Campbell has created a full-on natural wine list. It’s not for the faint of heart, but if you want to know what’s really going on with the next generation of wines, let Lee be your guide. 80 Wythe Ave., Brooklyn; 718-460-8004; reynardnyc.com.
5. Boulud Sud
Sommelier Mike Madrigale pulls out all the stops—and the corks of big bottles. His large-format by-the-glass program continues to be the best way to drink in NYC. 20 W. 64th St.; 212-595-1313; bouludsud.com.
6. The NoMad

7. Charlie Bird
