In the next few days, you’ll be seeing a lot of Josh Ozersky. For those who didn’t follow him when he edited the blogs Grub Street and The Feedbag, you missed a lot of well-informed, highly opinionated talk, mostly about burgers. (Ozersky is the author of the terrific book The Hamburger: A History.) And now, Ozersky is everywhere: Next week, he’ll appear on No Reservations, where he’ll eat Black Label burgers at NYC’s Minetta Tavern with Anthony Bourdain (he’ll also appear on Nightline, as a bacon expert). Phew! But that’s not it. Ozersky has begun writing a weekly online column for Time, and next Monday he’ll have a story in the magazine that's a recap of the South Beach Wine & Food Festival’s Burger Bash. (His opinion on the 27-burger event: “If you’re interested in hamburgers, to not know what’s going on at the Burger Bash is an act of sensory deprivation.”) What’s next? You guessed it: Ozersky.TV (he's currently talking to four networks about a possible show).
