If you dream of cooking pasta like a pro, here's your chance to get bankrolled to take a life-changing cooking course in New York and Italy. The International Culinary Center is looking for the first recipient of its new Marcella Hazan Scholarship, which honors the late cooking legend and will contribute $20,000 (about half the tuition) toward the ICC's amazing Italian Culinary Experience program. Over 28 weeks, the course takes students from classrooms in Manhattan to a campus near Parma, and then into a real-world restaurant kitchen for a stage (apprenticeship) under a master Italian chef. "The ideal candidate is someone who aspires to be the next Mario Batali," says ICC founder Dorothy Hamilton. Apply by March 7 at culinarycenter.com/MarcellaScholarship.
