What’s the biggest challenge when creating multiple recipes that use the same ingredient?
The hardest ingredients are very cuisine-specific, like bok choy. In those cases I really try to improvise something a little unusual based on close culinary cousins (in that case, cabbage). So for the bok choy, I created a white bean and sausage soup and bok choy cornmeal pancakes in addition to more Asian-y recipes.
