Piece of shill or not (“I didn’t write it!” claims Kyotofu co-owner Nicole Bermensolo of the note sent to Eater earlier this week), the rumors are true: A second outpost of the pristine Japanese dessert bar in Hell’s Kitchen is in the works. Take two, according to Bermensolo, will be opening next summer, will be a little bigger, and most importantly, will be downtown. But there’s more even Kyotofu news: They’ll be supplying all the sweets at Tafu, a new tea shop opening later this month in midtown east. Expect delicate desserts made with Japanese tea, like gen mai cha financières.
