Photographer and vegan food stylist Kate Lewis (@_kate_lewis), of Le Chou Sauvage blog, posts Instagram photos of her adopted dog Cooper, New York City scenes and Ohio landscapes. But her shots of apple-covered waffles, holiday cookies and chocolate truffles (left) make enviable like-bait. "I think that is pretty cool because I mostly post vegan food!" she says. "That can be inspiring for a lot of people. Vegan or vegetarian food can look just as tasty as food that is in the magazines and cookbooks we all have on our shelves. It is about taking time to learn how to cook properly and then making a nice plate of food for yourself." One of her favorite shooting tips: "Play around next to a window with diffused light and see how it changes the colors and shadows of your food. I prefer #nofilter whenever possible!"
