2012 Château Cambon Beaujolais: The standard line on Beaujolais is to seek out wine from the region's crus—13 grape-growing areas that have proven themselves worthy. But some of the best-value bottlings are made elsewhere. Château Cambon comes from a small vineyard that, despite being nestled between two prestigious crus and not inside of either, produces incredibly delicious wines. The 2012 is super fresh-tasting and packed with red berry flavors. It's perfect spring drinking.

Drink It With: Something springy and a little spicy, like chef Tim Cushman's scallion-topped, Sriracha-spiked tuna burgers.

Best Price Online: $14 at Suburban Wines. (Find more stores).

Also Look For: Any bottling from other great Beaujolais producers such as Domaine des Terres Dorées, Daniel Bouland, Château des Jacques and Marcel Lapierre.
