- Hi from the Los Angeles Food & Wine Festival
South by Southwest is great, but all that music distracts from Austin’s real draw: the food. If you agree with that statement, then the Austin Food & Wine Festival is the Texas-based festival for you. From April 25th to 27th, the city will be inundated with amazing chefs and wine buffs like Tim Love, Tyson Cole, Paul Qui, Rick Bayless, Mark Oldman and F&W’s own Ray Isle. There will be a Rock Your Taco competition judged by Graham Elliot, Andrew Zimmern and F&W’s Christina Grdovic. There will be fire pits lorded over by chefs like Tim Byres and Aaron Franklin. There will be sessions on grilling, mixology and more. And of course, there will be a massive tasting of incredible dishes from star chefs and Austin's best restaurants. Tickets are on sale today at $250 for a standard pass or $850 for VIP access.
