The Internet is a black hole for strange, weird and wonderful things—especially when it comes to food. Rather than dive in yourself, let F&W do it for you. Here, four of the most absurd food items we saw this week.

Katz’s Deli Sneakers: In New York, Katz’s Delicatessen is known as the master of the pastrami sandwich. Now, the NYC institution can claim its position as a fashion muse. Limited edition Nike Air Force 1 shoes printed with cutlery and Katz’s iconic signage are on eBay with bidding starting at $1,000. They come in a wooden box with a bonus gift of an iPod nano loaded with the soundtrack from When Harry Met Sally.

Full-English Breakfast Drink: For those who love a big, decadent English breakfast but hate sitting down to eat it, a company called Fuel has packed the whole meal into one 230 calorie drink. The drink contains flavors of bacon, sausage, poached egg, fried tomatoes, baked beans, mushrooms, toast, salt, pepper and brown sauce.

Printable Food: A new 3D printer called the Foodini may replace your prep cook. The amazing machine is able to “print” a wide variety of foods like pizza, pasta and even dinosaur-shaped cakes (though they still need to be cooked). The printer will be available mid-2013 for about $1,360, ingredient capsules sold separately.

Doritos-Fried Chicken: If Taco Bell’s Doritos Locos did satisfy your daily Doritos requirement, then Buffalo Wild Wings’ Doritos-crusted chicken wings and tenders should do the trick. The items are currently in the works and will be tested in the next year and a half. The company is also working with PepsiCo to create Mountain Dew-spiked dipping sauces.
