The Internet is a black hole for strange, weird and wonderful things—especially when it comes to food. Rather than dive in yourself, let F&W do it for you. Here, five of the most absurd food items we saw this week.

Glow-in-the-Dark-Ice-Cream: Perfect for midnight snacking in the dark, the Lick Me I’m Delicious ice cream company created ice cream that glows when you lick it. Made with jellyfish proteins, it doesn’t come cheap. Just one scoop costs £140.

Sriracha Candy Canes: Peppermint has ruled the candy cane game for as long as can be remembered. But now there’s a new, trendy contender: Sriracha. The candies are striped with red, white and green so as to reflect the colors of the Sriracha bottle, which is fitting but dangerous. They can be easily confused for their spice-less, minty cousins.

Burger-Eating Mask: F&W women take pride in our burger eating skills but according to a Japanese fast food chain, we would be in the minority in Japan. Allegedly, Japanese women don’t like to eat burgers because it involves opening their mouths embarrassingly wide. The company came up with a ridiculous solution: a paper burger holder that covers the eater’s mouth with a picture of half of a demurely smiling face.

Bacon Deodorant: Waking up to the smell of sizzling bacon is a wonderful thing—but not when armpits are involved. J&D Foods has created a bacon-scented deodorant called Power Bacon which, according to a blind sniff test conducted at a Seattle radio station, really does smell convincingly like America’s favorite meat.

Beer ChurchIn an effort to attract new members, some churches are offering boozy services—many of which take place in a bar. Sometimes there’s even pizza.
