You dropped your Cronut in my shake! You got ice cream on my Cronut! Together, it’s a dessert obsessive’s dream. For one day only, two of NYC’s most wildly celebrated cravings, Shake Shack’s extra-thick frozen custard shakes (a.k.a. Concretes) and Dominique Ansel’s Cronuts, are coming together into one incredible dessert: the Cronut Hole Concrete. Made with butter caramel frozen custard and cinnamon sugar Cronut holes, 1,000 of the blends will be sold for $4.50 each starting at 10 a.m. on September 17 at the Shack’s Madison Square Park location. Cronut superfans should return between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. when Cronut creator Dominique Ansel will help serve the Concretes (assuming supplies last) and greet fans. All proceeds will benefit New York City Patrolmen’s Benevolent Association Widows and Children’s Fund as well as the Madison Square Park Conservancy.
