Eat Local, Win Concert Tickets

Scoring concert tickets by eating locally almost seems too easy. But the Boston alt-pop band Guster is challenging fans to use the Eat Well Guide to find and eat at least one meal using local, sustainably raised food; upload a photo of the meal as proof; and have a chance to win an ultimate-access pass to Live Nation-sponsored concerts in either the Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA, or Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, CA. The "Guster Challenge" is just one of a number of initiatives Guster frontman Adam Gardner is spearheading this summer through The Green Music Group, a project launched by his nonprofit Reverb, which is committed to eco-education and greening concert tours. The Green Music Group's mission is to encourage concert venues to sell local and organic food. The group will launch a different challenge each week through mid-August, offering chances to win cool prizes like season passes to concert venues or a Honda Insight Hybrid.
