Here Comes Another Michael Psilakis Restaurant

As Grub Street reported a few weeks ago, Michael Psilakis, chef/owner of two excellent Greek restaurants in New York—Midtown's Anthos and the Upper West Side's more classic Kefi—is going to bring back his popular but short-lived Dona, at least sort of. His new place, which will open on 58th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenues in early January, doesn't have a name yet, but like Dona, it will have an Italian menu with Greek influences. "It's going to be Dona redux," says Psilakis, who looks a lot like Iron Chef winner Michael Symon, as another Grub Street post pointed out, "only more casual." He's penciled in the next three weeks to work on the menu. "I'll be celebrating the holidays by cooking a lot. Luckily I have a big family."
