Where are they now?

Bryan and Gino Diaferia’s relationship began many years ago, in the New York City restaurant Luma, which Diaferia opened in 1988. He brought a young Bryan on after six years and their partnership changed the face of the restaurant. Two years later, the pair opened Indigo in the West Village. Around that same time, they found a larger, more sophisticated Gramercy space in which to open Veritas, which became known not only for Bryan’s creative, Italian-influenced dishes, but also its extensive wine list. In 2009, Bryan moved to hed Apiary, designed by furnishings company Ligne Roset.
