Where are they now?

McKee and business partner Josh Thoma (whom he met in the kitchen at D'Amico's) opened the Mediterranean-inspired La Belle Vie together in 1998. In 2005 they relocated the restaurant to downtown Minneapolis. Meanwhile, the pair also opened Solera, a Spanish restaurant and tapas bar, in 2003.
