Where are they now?

Epié, who earned his first Michelin star at 22, left California to open Citrus Etoile in Paris in 2006. Working alongside his American wife, Elizabeth, who is the restaurant's hostess, Epié creates classic French dishes with American accents (such as his foie gras–stuffed beignets), which reflect his tenure in the U.S. as chef at L'Orangerie in Los Angeles, where he cooked for various Hollywood stars.
