For 30 years, Mariano García produced excellent vintages for Spain's most famous wine estate, Vega Sicilia. Now the man who's considered the benevolent father of Spanish enology has gone out on his own, making distinguished wines at, among other places, the ambitious new winery Aalto in Ribera del Duero.
