Celebrity chef Michelle Bernstein, who made a name for herself in Miami at Mandarin Oriental's Azul, is opening a casual place in the emerging Upper East Side, with a little help from her family. While she prepares blue-cheese croquetas with fig jam and sherry-braised quail, and stocks the raw bar with stone crab cocktails and fish carpaccios, her husband, David Martinez, will oversee the dining room.
