Tray Chic: The Solitaire Bowl

It's an olive server. Or is it a game board? In fact, the ceramic Solitaire bowl, by British design duo Barnaby Barford and Andre Klauser, is both. It's just one of the eccentric pieces—from serving dishes to furniture—imported from Europe by Paul Valentine, founder of the year-old San Francisco–based company Smallpond ($45; smlpond.com).
