Crash from your sugar high at one of these Honolulu hotels:

Halekulani (2199 Kalia Rd.; 808-923-2311). The rooms' stunning views of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach make the hotel's name remarkably apt: It means "house befitting heaven" in Hawaiian.

Kahala Mandarin Oriental Hawaii (5000 Kahala Ave.; 808-739-8888). The Mandarin offers up old Hawaii in every corner of its spacious rooms: four-poster plantation-style beds, bamboo chaise longues and even CDs of Hawaiian music.
