  1. Have your butcher trim and tie roasts for you.
  2. Choose salad greens that don’t need rinsing, like endive or radicchio, or ones that need only minimal cleaning, like frisée. To save time, tear up the frisée as you rinse the leaves.
  3. Use your food processor to do as much of the work as possible: it can chop the chocolate and then mix the pudding ingredients together.
