The accommodations I visited almost every room at the Aveda Spa Retreat. Each is different, decorated with antiques that Kiran Stordalen and Horst Rechelbacher collected on their travels. The rooms in the main house are charming, almost like those you'd find in a turn-of-the-century farmhouse. The suites, which are a short walk away on the property, are far more dramatic. I'm especially partial to the one called Genet, where I stayed.

The treatments I had a facial, the best ever. Other services include full-body massages and flower-essence whirlpool sessions with body wraps.
