Thomas and Joseph Keller are both fans of Pahlmeyer's three outstanding wines, priced at about $50 a bottle: a Chardonnay with golden fruit flavor; a deep-red Merlot; and a modestly labeled "red wine," a big red Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot grapes. Only 2,000 cases or so of each wine are produced annually. French Laundry carries all three wines on its list; The Woodbox Inn offers the "red."
