Rules for Feng Shui
Here are R. D. Chin's guidelines for creating health, wealth and happiness.
choosing perfect colors Red is for luck; yellow for wealth; green for growth, future prosperity, health and tranquillity; brown for stability and depth; pink for love and happiness; blue for spirituality and composure; white for mourning. To include all these colors, I place different colored glasses at the table for each guest.
appreciating the elements Wood represents growth and expansion; earth is the nourisher of all things and symbolizes change; metal is a symbol of completeness and fulfillment; water is a sign of abundance and purification, patience and peace; fire provides maximum energy and success. An ideal dining room would have a wooden table set with earthenware plates, glasses filled with water, silver flatware and a candle.
making the most of air and light Mirrors increase the energy level of a room; wind chimes are warning or welcoming devices; bamboo flutes convey good news, and the bamboo from which they are made symbolizes prosperity and good chi (energy); crystals are believed to be magical and are excellent for turning bad energy into good.
