Antica Focacceria S. Francesco
This three-level restaurant (casual food on the bottom, fine dining at the top) is one of the oldest in Palermo. The food’s good, albeit rustic, and the wine list is very reasonably priced (Via Paternostro 58; 011-39-091-320-264 or afsf.it).

Tasca d’Almerita
About an hour and a half from Palermo, Tasca d’Almerita is one of the most beautiful wineries in Sicily (tascadalmerita.it).
