D’Alceo ($225) A monumental wine that showcases Tuscan Cabernet.
Fontalloro ($50) This all-Sangiovese wine from Fattoria di Fèlsina is perhaps the greatest bargain Super-Tuscan around. Look for the 2001 wine.
Masseto ($250) A gorgeous Merlot. It’s called the Château Pétrus of Italy—and, unfortunately, priced much like it, too.
Redigaffi ($275) A great Italian Merlot from Tua Rita, second only to Masseto but even more expensive.
Tignanello ($70) This Sangiovese-Cab blend put Piero Antinori on the map some 30 years ago. Check out the 2003.
